Brand Registry gives enrolled brands proactive protections, advanced tools and authenticated infringement reporting. Eligible brands may also use Project Zero for counterfeit removal and Transparency for product serialization. Amazon also provides a public Report Infringement route for rights owners where it applies.

No. When you are enrolled, we use the authenticated workflow your account supports. When you are not, or when the public route fits the case better, supported cases go through Amazon's public infringement process instead.

Not simply for being unauthorized. Amazon's IP routes address counterfeit goods, trademark misuse, copyright infringement and other supported rights violations — not distribution or pricing agreements. We check whether there is an actionable IP basis before reporting a seller or offer.

A suspected counterfeit offer has to be connected to the relevant rights and evidence, and some cases need further verification or a test buy first. Once validated, we prepare the evidence, file through the appropriate Amazon route, track the response and keep monitoring for the same product or seller to come back.
